Withdraw from contract here

Fourteen days

If you are buying as a consumer, you may withdraw from the purchase within a period of 14 days from the receipt of your order, without giving any reason — as per Article 10 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014. The period begins from the day the last item reaches you.

To withdraw, please inform us clearly. You can do so here on the website: click on Withdraw from purchase here — this link is also in the footer of all pages — and you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt by email. Alternatively, write to ithos@outlook.pt: an email will be received. There is a form you can use if you prefer, but it is not mandatory.

The date you send us your decision is what counts: if you send it before the period expires, you have withdrawn in time (Article 11 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014).

What cannot be returned

Personalised pieces. Items made according to your instructions or clearly intended only for you — a name, a date, your engraved words — do not have a right to cancel and cannot be returned once the order has been paid: this is point c) of no. 1 of article 17 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014. The legal guarantee remains in effect.

Choosing from colours we already offer is not personalisation. A lamp in a colour from our list can be returned just like any other item.

Sending it back

Send the piece back within 14 days of telling us. You pay the return postage. Pack it as it arrived, or better. You are only liable for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the piece.

Getting your money back

We refund within 14 days of the day you tell us you are cancelling. That includes the standard outbound shipping; if you chose a faster option, we refund the standard rate.

We may hold the money until the piece is back with us, or until you show us you have sent it — whichever happens first. That is a right to wait, not a later start: the 14 days are counted from the day you told us.

The money goes back the way it came. If you paid by MB WAY or by card, it returns to the same card or phone. A Multibanco reference has no way back, so for those we ask you for an IBAN and transfer it — we use the IBAN only to return your money, and keep it no longer than the accounting rules require.
